The Virtuoso was launched in the spring of 2000 as the Orchestral Module in the new Proteus '2000' range. With 128 voices and 64MB of samples, this was the most comprehensive collection of it's type at the time it was released. From solo to section strings - it's all here! The Virtuoso SoundFont collection includes all new samples from the same symphony under the most ideal recording conditions. The symphony recorded was the Seattle Symphony and it took over two years to complete.
